A 16 year old male youth aware that he was wanted by the police turned himself in on Monday night. The youth was wanted by Toronto Police for breaching his probation. As well he was on as missing from the Nottawasaga OPP police. Barrie Police picked the male up and held him at the station until Toronto returned for him.

On Monday night an officer stopped and investigated two males on Sophia St. The officer received information that one of the males was wanted by Hamilton Police for breach of probation. The 30 year old male was arrested and held at the station. Hamilton police attended and returned the male to attend court to face his charge.

A Barrie Police officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle driving the wrong way north on Bayfield St between Dunlop St and Collier St. The officer stopped the vehicle to investigate the driver. Upon speaking to the male, the officer observed signs of impairment on the male driver. The 28 year old male originally from Scotland and now living in Barrie was arrested for impaired driving. He was taken to the station for breath tests. The male had two and one half times the legal limit in his system.
