Barrie Police were called to an address on Edgehill Drive at around 11:00 a.m. regarding a domestic incident talking place there.
Officers attended and commenced an investigation and determined that a 20 year old male and his 20 year old common law partner had been involved in an argument which escalated to the point that the male damaged their property.
The male left the residence prior to officers’ arrival but was subsequently located and arrested for domestic mischief.
He was transported to the station in order to be held pending a bail hearing.
Further investigation revealed that the 20 year old female had assaulted the male during the altercation. She was subsequently arrested for domestic assault and released with conditions and a future court date.

Barrie Police Traffic Units were called to a two vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. at Cundles Road and Bayfield Street.
Officers attended and commenced an investigation. An 87 year old female and a 17 year old male were identified as the involved drivers. Both vehicles sustained damage and were not drivable.
Investigation determined that the female had failed to yield as required under the Highway Traffic Act. She was charged accordingly.
