Details:

The driver of a truck loaded with computer equipment exited Highway 400 northbound at Mapleview Friday morning and lost control while turning westbound. The truck slid sideways and hit a light standard, causing road closures at the busy interstection for more than an hour. No one was injured and no other vehicles were involved. The driver was charged with careless driving.

Details:

An intoxicated male was spotted with his pants down across from a high school in Barrie's south end Friday. The male was followed by a witness walking into a store. Barrie Police officers responded and the male was arrested and held in cells until sober.
