Chief Frechette hosted the Barrie Police awards night February 2nd, 2010.

This night was to recognize and celebrate a number of persons for service commitment, outstanding achievement and bravery.

Several members of the community, our fire, paramedic and hospital colleagues were recognized by the Barrie Police Service and it's Board for their lifesaving actions on July 5th, 2009.

In a small way to show a token of our appreciation, plaques were presented as a keepsake.

We remain, "committed to our community."
