On behalf of the Barrie Police Service, Chief Wayne Frechette would like to extend his condolences to the family and friends of Retired Chief Jack Delcourt.

The Barrie Police were overwhelmed with the compassion and generosity exhibited today, as we gathered 606 tents to ship immediately to Haiti.

FRAUD ALERT

Barrie Police would like to make the citizens aware of an alleged scam occurring in the city of Barrie.

The Barrie Police Service Fraud Unit has laid 3 fraud charges against Thomas Daniel Miller (known as Dan Miller to the victims) for allegedly defrauding three separate citizens of thousands of dollars.

Come out January 7th to support the Barrie Police Service as we raise funds for Ontario Special Olympics. This Thursday, the Barrie Colts play the Brampton Battalion at 7:30 pm at the Barrie Molson Centre.
